Let's get down to basics first. I am not the Specter of the Arlen fame, nor am I related to him. I have been hanging out on the internet since the days of telnet and gopher, have participated in many forums in Usenet (under various nicks), and have now graduated to the "blogosphere". I really believe that we, as a world, have lost the ability to communicate and share ideas - especially in a written manner. Hopefully, we can be non-snarky and/or troll-like and take pleasure in debate.
